Does a Faraday box really stop relay attacks?
Yes. A relay attack needs your key fob signal. Inside the closed box, the conductive lining blocks it, so a relay box outside your door has nothing to pick up.
Which size should I choose?
Compact (4.9 × 3.9 × 2.6 in) holds 1 to 2 key fobs. Large (6.7 × 4.7 × 3.5 in) fits the keys of the whole household, plus cards and a phone.
How do I test it?
Put your key in the box and close the clasp. Walk up to your car and pull the handle: it should stay locked. Open the box and it unlocks again.
Will it drain or damage my key fob?
No. The box only blocks the signal. Your key works normally the moment you take it out.
Does it work with my car?
